Step 1. Begin by drawing the basic outline of the front view. Sketch a tall rectangle for the main body of the SUV, leaving space for the wheels and bumper at the bottom.
Step 2. Add the roof and windshield. Use straight lines for the roof and a slightly curved rectangle for the windshield. This gives the boxy shape of the G-Class.
Step 3. Sketch the outline of the headlights and the bumper. Place large circles where the headlights will go, one on each side of the front. Draw the lower bumper as a wide shape under the body.
Step 4. Add more details to the headlights. Inside each circle, draw a smaller circle to create the signature round headlight style.
Step 5. Begin the front grille. Draw a wide rectangle between the headlights and add horizontal lines inside it. Leave space in the middle for the Mercedes-Benz logo.
Step 6. Draw the Mercedes-Benz emblem in the center of the grille. Make a circle, and inside it sketch the three-pointed star. This is the most iconic feature of the car.
Step 7. Work on the lower bumper and license plate area. Draw a rectangle for the plate in the middle and add details like small vents and the mesh grille under it.
Step 8. Add the smaller lights and vents on both sides of the bumper. These are usually square or rectangular shapes, giving more character to the front design.
Step 9. Sketch the wheels and tires peeking out below the car. Even though most of the wheels are hidden, show the curved bottoms and some tread for realism.
Step 10. Refine the mirrors and edges. Add the side mirrors on both sides of the windshield and smooth the body lines to make the SUV look sharp and strong.
Step 11. Go over the drawing and add details such as the hood lines, bolts, and grille texture. This step will make your G-Class look more complete.
