How to Draw a Mercedes-Benz AMG GT2 (2023) – Step by Step

The Mercedes-AMG GT2 (2023) is a race-ready sports car with aggressive aerodynamics, wide fenders, and a bold front grille. Follow these 12 steps to learn how to draw it from the side-front angle.

Step 1.

Start with the basic outline of the front bumper and one wheel arch. Use smooth curved lines to mark the lower shape of the car.

Step 2.

Extend the roofline and rear wheel arch. Sketch a long curved line over the car to form the roof and back section.

Step 3.

Add the second wheel arch and the basic door shape. Keep the lines simple—this is just the framework.

Step 4.

Sketch the windshield, side windows, and roof. Draw the outline of the cabin with clean, rounded shapes.

Step 5.

Work on the headlights. Add a sleek, sharp headlight on the front side to give the AMG its sporty look.

Step 6.

Begin the front grille. Draw a large opening with vertical lines across it—this is the signature AMG Panamericana grille.

Step 7.

Add more details to the hood, bumper, and vents. Sketch air intakes and sharp lines to show the car’s aerodynamic design.

Step 8.

Draw the wheels with circular shapes. Add the spokes inside to start forming the racing rims.

Step 9.

Refine the bodywork. Add panel lines on the doors, side skirts, and rear quarter panels to show structure.

Step 10.

Work more on the rims, adding detailed spokes and depth. Also refine the front bumper and headlights for more realism.

Step 11.

Sketch additional racing details like hood vents, small aerodynamic fins, and side mirrors. The car should now look more aggressive.

Step 12.

Finalize your drawing with the rear wing. Add shading to the windows, grille, and wheels, then clean up unnecessary lines. Your Mercedes-Benz AMG GT2 (2023) drawing is now complete!
